Dear beautiful Buff,

We live in an era where people are literally getting paid for being pretty. Have a pretty face? Advertise this product in an Instagram picture and we'll pay you...an absurd amount, too! A friend was telling me today her super skinny husband put on a pair of her shorts and they fit him perfectly. He kept saying they were so comfy he was gonna wear them all the time. She asked him what size he thought they were, and (because of his own sizing as a male) he guessed small or medium. They were XXL. That's FOUR sizes away from small.

That's RIDICULOUS. No. Wonder. All of us girls are screwed in the head. No wonder we crave attention for our bodies. No wonder we go to crazy extents like waist training, drinking shakes, taking pills, working out 8 times a day. No wonder we contour and highlight and wax and put 97 products on our face to make it fit the standards. It's so so sad. I hate it so so much.

We are women.

We have eyes that see the good in people.
