Oh Buff,

I have all the feels when driving home from a visit to see you. Sad because it's just that - a visit - and you live so far away. Blessed to have someone as wonderful as you in my life. Happy from the smiles, kisses and giggles I got from Jacob. (If I'm being honest...) Grateful that my relationship with your husband is getting better. Most of all, so so SO loved because of your incredible friendship and encouragement. You carry yourself through life with such poise. There really is so much I, and people of this world, can learn from you. That is why I insisted you be a part of blogging with me. I really think of you in awe, and love how gracefully you carry yourself through life.

Now, that's not to say we both aren't a mess. You and I - well, we're two peas in a pod when it comes to lifestyle. Dishes don't get done, cars are filled with treasures from old cheerios to any type of pen you could imagine. Birthday parties get thrown together at the last minute. A week of staying with someone and the room is as messy as it is at home. Living room floor is covered with toys at all times. Yup, we're both type C people that's for sure. But Buff, you've become such an incredible woman. You love your job and community with a passion that is sought after by so many. You have this incredible wisdom when it comes to creating community and opportunities for those around you. You deal with hardship and the things life throws your way incredibly. You think through situations with clarity and intention. You love your little boy so deeply... he's going to grow up to be such a sweet and loving boy, he has no choice with your genes in him!

I'm just really proud of you, and proud to call you my best friend. This isn't a very good "blog" post - since I'm really just bragging on you. But hey, it needs to happen every now and then.

I love you too much,

xx Eesa
