Let me tell you about a really cool lady.

Bethany Williams, aka Buff has been my best friend since we were 5 years old. Let me just tell you the words that pop into my mind when I hear her name: beautiful (I mean, look at that picture...), amazing heart and soul, encouraging, funny, insightful, caring, thoughtful. After gaining the title of my best friend almost 20 years ago, Bethany has gone on to gain the title of Community Development Coordinator in her small town government. Baker. Wife. Mommy (to the CUTEST little guy in ALL THE WORLD - I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.) She's just so darn awesome. She knows exactly how to make me laugh when I need it. She encourages me to chase my dreams - case and point: one day I simply texted her a typical life moment melt down text and she goes "You would be a great blogger. Start a blog." & so this was born!

Bethany is the best at finding useless hilarious things on the interweb. She's awesome at coming up with ways to encourage and develop the small town where she works and we both attended college. She finds opportunities for beauty even in the most broken of places. She loves Christmas - like really loves Christmas. Like, she plays Christmas songs for Jacob year round. She loves to find deals online (she's always getting free stuff!). She's the best person ever to spend an agenda-less day with, because it will almost definitely include coffee, delicious treats, and buying something you didn't know you needed. She's better at writing than me (so make sure you read her posts!) and has an incredible way of using words to uplift and inspire.

We're both a little all over the place - type B, maybe even C people. But we've been together during many stages of life. School-age awkwardness (wait til those pictures surface). Horrible relationships (she always knows best, I should really start listening to her...). Proms (she was my date every year!). Missions trips. College (yay Geneva!). Figuring out how to adult... Getting full time jobs. Forever relationships (yay marriage!). Becoming a mommy & aunt!

I hope you look forward to continuing life with us, just as much as I look forward to continuing life with this beautiful and lovely lady. :)
